1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using the Loravae platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client" or "User") and Loravae ("we", "us", or "our").
2. Age Restrictions (13+)
Age Requirement:
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account on Loravae and use the Service. By registering for an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If we discover or have reason to believe you are under 13, your account will be suspended immediately pending age verification.
Age Verification: Loravae reserves the right to request proof of age at any time, particularly for clients utilizing our DMCA and legal takedown services, which may require legal majority (18+) depending on the jurisdiction of the infringing content. While anyone 13+ can use the platform, certain legal actions executed on your behalf may require adult authorization.
3. Service Description & Scope
Loravae provides a platform to assist content creators and copyright holders in identifying, managing, and issuing takedown requests against unauthorized distributions of their intellectual property.
Agency Representation: By submitting a case or using our takedown tools, you authorize Loravae and its designated staff to act as your agent for the sole purpose of issuing Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notices and equivalent international copyright claims under penalty of perjury on your behalf.
No Guarantee of Removal: While we employ industry best practices, we cannot guarantee the removal of content, as compliance relies on third-party hosting providers and domain registrars.
Good Faith Belief: You warrant that all content you report is your original work or you are an authorized representative of the copyright holder, and you have a good faith belief that the reported use is not authorized by law.
4. User Accounts & Responsibilities
Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
Accurate Information: You agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information during registration and on Information Intake forms.
Prohibited Actions: You may not use the Service to submit false copyright claims, harass individuals, distribute malware, or engage in any unlawful activities.
Termination: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms, particularly in cases of submitting fraudulent DMCA notices.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:Loravae and its affiliates, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; or (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Loravae provides administrative and technical assistance with intellectual property enforcement — including the submission of DMCA notices and takedown requests — but this does not amount to the provision of legal services.
Loravae is fiscally sponsored by Hack Club. Hack Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 81-2908499). Registered under The Hack Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN: 81-2908499).
Loravae is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), the Bar Standards Board (BSB), or any equivalent legal regulatory body in any jurisdiction. We are an independent compliance and IP enforcement consultancy.
If you require legal advice regarding your intellectual property rights, a dispute, or any legal matter, you should consult a qualified and regulated solicitor or legal professional in your jurisdiction. Loravae strongly recommends seeking independent legal counsel for any matter of legal significance.
7. Third-Party Integrations & Platform Infrastructure
Loravae relies on trusted third-party providers for processing billing, validating user identities (KYC), hosting resources, and delivering customer support. By using our Service, you acknowledge and agree to the operations of these external systems:
Billing: All financial transactions and paid plan upgrades are processed securely via PayPal. Product serial keys used to activate paid plans are managed and validated internally within our own database. Loravae does not use Sellauth or any external licensing platform. Loravae does not use Stripe or other credit card merchant processors.
Email Notifications: All transactional and administrative email notifications (including registration, case updates, and account alerts) are sent via Resend. By registering an account you consent to receiving these operational emails.
Customer Support: Live chat, client-to-admin communication channels, and secure support tickets are handled using Zendesk. Loravae does not utilise Intercom for any messaging or support widgets.
Biometric KYC Audits: Biometric facial matching, photo scanning, and government-issued ID validation are processed via Youverse. Identity verifications are required to prevent fraudulent claims and to verify copyright ownership eligibility.
Infrastructure & File Hosting: The platform is hosted on Vercel's global CDN network. All client-submitted evidence, case documents, signed agreements, and platform-generated PDFs are stored on Vercel Blob Storage. Job application files (CVs, cover letters) are stored on Cloudflare R2. Loravae does not use AWS S3 or unencrypted external servers.
