Job Description

The Legal Advisor supports the organisation by providing expert guidance on intellectual property, copyright protection, and digital policy compliance. The role focuses on reviewing infringement cases, advising on platform policies, and ensuring that copyright protection processes align with relevant legal frameworks and best practices. The Legal Advisor works closely with operations, client support teams, and policy specialists to ensure clients receive accurate guidance and effective responses to copyright infringement issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal analysis and guidance on copyright infringement cases and digital intellectual property protection.
• Review and advise on DMCA takedown requests, counter-notices, and related documentation.
• Support the development of copyright protection strategies for creators, developers, and businesses.
• Interpret copyright laws and platform policies across different jurisdictions.

Requirements

• Experience in intellectual property law, copyright law, or digital media law.
• Knowledge of DMCA procedures and online platform content policies.
• Strong analytical, research, and legal drafting skills.
